Simone's the new long arm of the law.

Despite appearances, Scots actress Simone Lahbib isn't hanging about. In fact, her fast-moving career doesn't even need scaffolding - it was built in Scotland from girders.

That's how the Stirling-born beauty was able to wow TV viewers in the drama, London Bridge.
Unfortunately, that was shown only in the London area. But Simone has been building other bridges.
She recently finished her first American film, The Witch's Daughter, and also stripped off for a saucy stage version of Lady Chatterley's Lover.

Now Simone, 30, is set to hit the big time as a tough cop in the ITV action thriller series, Thief Takers, which starts on October 23.

She plays the new girl on the squad, ambitious, hard-working Scot Lucy McCarthy, a tough nut with a chip on her shoulder.

But that's simply not the true Simone.

She says: "At last my family will be able to see some of the stuff I do... and the money's better, too!"
