But much as it was fun being in a band and all the rest of it, I didn’t have that drive. I didn’t have that serious thing. When I started acting, something just fell into place and I knew that that was what I wanted to do. I had a different kind of serious attitude about it."

Simone has been the victim of victim crime: a man once tried to mug/rape on the front steps of her home just before starting London Bridge. Luckily she was able to scare him off.

During a break-in at her home at the beginning of 2005 thieves stole Simone’s engagement and wedding ring. She and her husband where not home at the time and scared the thieves off upon their returned.

Started Dancing at the age of 5. Loved Tap, Highland, Modern, and Stage, but ballet was always her main discipline.

Was approached by Dundee Rep, a well know ballet company, to be in one of their shows at the age of 19
